Description
The huge 249 piece DS Coding Architect is an innovative game concept that helps you learn to think like a computer. By investigating programming concepts, children have the opportunity to see computers as a creative tool rather than entertainment. Made in Germany, the huge 249 piece pack consists of 31 large 3.5cm wooden building blocks, just perfect for little hands, 1 graph chart, 30 template cards with three degrees of difficulty starting with beginners and extending as skills are developed, 179 coordinate image cards, 1 positioning tray and a set of instructions. Using logic and concentration to work through one step after the other like a computer following an algorithm, you can easily build the correct structures out of blocks using coordinates instead of complicated text commands. Developing rules and applying them to create program codes, fosters logical thinking and problem solving by recognising and correcting errors. Read the coordinate plan, decipher the codes and build a structure. Or develop your own code for a structure and become a coding architect!
Ideal for many different applications, the Coding Architect can be used in small groups or individually, at kindy, primary school or at home... especially if mum and dad want to learn what coding is all about! One of several in the Haba DS Digital Starter range they are geared to the digital world in which we live and ideal for STEM learning to practice cognitive skills such as logic, spatial awareness, concentration, creativity and abstract reasoning skills. Start your kids early and get ahead of the game!
